(1)外徑和壁厚鋼管尺寸分為普通鋼管尺寸組(見表6-1)、精密鋼管尺寸組(見表6-2)和不銹鋼管尺寸組(見表6-3)。
鋼管的外徑分為三個系列。第一系列:標準化鋼管;第二系列:非標準化為主的鋼管;第三系列:特殊用途鋼管。普通鋼管的外徑分為系列1、2、3,精密鋼管的外徑分為系列2、3,不銹鋼管的外徑分為系列1、2、3。

注:1.鋼管一般以通常長度交貨。通常長度應符合以下規定:
熱軋(擴)管:3000—12000mm;
冷軋(拔)管:2000—10500mm;
熱軋(擴)短尺管的長度不小于2m,冷軋(拔)短尺管的長度不小于1m。
2.特殊用途的鋼管,如不銹耐酸鋼極薄壁鋼管、小直徑鋼管等的長度要求可另行規定。
3.定尺長度和倍尺長度應在通常長度范圍內,全長允許偏差分為三級(見表中)。每個倍尺長度按以下規定留出切口余量:
外徑≤159mm:5~10mm;
外徑>159mm:10~15mm.
